Today was a rather slow day today truth be told! Didn't do much but played more Muramasa (the greatest visual novel ever made) and watched some Star Wars with friends. The highlight of my day though was getting to watch one of my favorite anime's Onegai My Melody, Kuru Kuru Shuffle! I was a big fan of the 1st season back then, to the point that I binged all 52 episodes in a sitting (much to my dismay by the end) but it really captured my heart, and I'm a major fan of the dynamic that Kuromi and Melody shared the whole show! Season 2 has felt more of the same but better, naturally taking what season 1 did and expanding upon it in brand new ways! I'm especially big fan of the new side character Jun-Kun brother to the main villain of season 1 and he's just an absolute treat. The way he bounces off of Kuromi and crew is a blast, and especially as of recent, the focus on him as a character has just been great. Today's episode specially was fantastic, even if the title took me so off guard! (Jun-Kun Gay Arc Confirmed???) It really tackles the emotional feelings this cast has for each other, and it was incredibly humorous seeing the crew try and get him out of his room. The ending was especially rather sweet, and I'm excited to see more, though I am rather sad knowing the end is coming up. It's funny growing so close to this show, I used to be rather embarrassed being so attached to "childish" media like that, but I've learnt to embrace my weird side and love what I love with no fear of embarrassment. My Melody taught me this lesson and honestly I've been a lot happier for it. I cannot wait to see where this show goes, and tomorrow's episode looks to be fantastic!
